Drinking Under Age

Do you think Drinking should be legal at age 18? In my point of view I don't think it should be legal at age 18 because minors dont really know how to control the substance in the alcohol. Not only that but they be drinking and driving; causing accidents. Theres is plenty of people that be buying minors alcohol when they very young.I think citizens should just wait till they turn 21, even though they still drink and drive, it would be less accidents.Think about it what so speacial of drinking so young when you cant control what you are drinking, being to drunk may cause many problems; rape, die of alcohol poisoning many things similar to that.
Also students are now drinking at school.

It puts the brain to sleep just like a shot of Novocain makes gums numb.Brain damage begins with the first drink and becomes sever in the case of the alcoholic,It should come as no surprise that people who drink start experiencing problems at school. Alcohol is a drug. It's also an addicting drug; 3.3 million young men and women under 20 are problem drinkers.
Alcoholism in adolescents develops rapidly, with some teens becoming alcoholics within six months after taking their first drink. Nineteen out of 100 young people 12to 17 years old are defined as having a serious drinking problem. There is no cure for alcoholism. Another problem of alcohol under age, It can destroy the liver;
About 85 percent of the deaths due to cirrhosis are associated with alcohol.
Damage to the liver due to cirrhosis can not be reversed.
Liver cancer is also related to alcohol use. Also Alcohol is a poison to all parts of the body, including the heart. Even moderate amounts of alcohol can adversely affect heart function.

That's the bottom line; People drink because they think acting like an idiot is the same as acting cool. People drink alcohol because they like the feeling of being "high" which is actually just the feeling of having damage to the central nervous system.












I think The law should stay like that, citizens should just be legal to drink at age 21, less accidents and problems. They should just wait, we wouldnt want any teenager to get hurt or be in a serious problem because of the cause of alcohol that was in them made them react to something they didnt want and later regret it. Being cool doesnt mean you have to drink to impress your friends be yourself and stop following others. Live the right way.

Persuasive essay on "Abortion"

Do you think Abortion is Murder? In my view f Point I think it is. Why can they JUST put their child on adoption instead of taking Risk of your life and killng an inoccent child. There should be more pograms to help these pople out, we the people should suppor them, instead of just judging them. By aborting a baby you can get sick, have Infections, may cause death, or may have problems in the future. There's so many Kinds of abortion that its crazy to describe, I dont know how they can manage to have the risk of it.Aborion in the U.S is a very sensitive, They should start putting a new law so people would stop all this abortions.











One of the problems in the United States is abortions, so many innocent babies dying. Its reall wrong to kill Inocent Human. "Fetus are innocent human beings; these two premises together force the intellet to conclude that it's wrong to kill fetus". By aborting people be getting Infected, this damaga can be mild fatal. The double of infection will beat least bouble of a hospital environment, not only that but if the process is not correctly done you might have serious complications in the future. If Limbs or skull is left in the uterus, severe infection may result; causing cramping and bleeding, Anesthic complications and death. People ask what happens to and aborted baby, aborted babies are often dumped in trah cans into a plastic bag for disposal or sold by the bag for etal transplant and expirimentations. Killin a child is wrong, people should not go through all the risk of it.











Rather than helping to clarify the matter, it appears "scholarship only muddies the water into many cases" How can people take the risk of all this. So many kinds of abortion are now in days. That pretty powerfull, dont you think. Another one is aline Abortion; this is a strong salt solution they say (saline) it is infected into the womb, which the baby reaths and swallows he solution which slowly poisons and suffocates the baby while it is slowly burning it skin, which the baby dies in 1 to 2 hours later. Another risk of abortion is Hysterotomy, Hysterotomy is like a birth by Cesarian section, except the purpose is to kill the baby. As Incision is made through the abdomen into the womb, the baby is kiled by varios means including drowning in a bucket of water, suffocating with the placenta, cutting the cord while the baby is in the uterus depriving her off oxygen, or allowing the baby to die by neglect. All these risk should not be legal at all. I dont think they should be allowed peiod. So many complcations are done, to many risk you have to take not only that but they are killing innocent baby. Today womn still die from all this legal abortions. Example: Pro-Abortion in Chicgo Sun Times an multiple issues in 1978, they discovered 1 mothers who had died from abortions. Unbelievable stuff but so true.

Its trul sad to hear all this because there is clinins that the conditions are s less than sanitary,Doctors should face criminal charges not just for the place but for permitting all this to happen, they should be there to help them out not to help them abort their innocent helpless child and be thrown just like that.





People should vote so all this abortions should not ever hapen anymore and if there is a point that she dont want his child she can just give it to adoption, there is alot of people that cant have kids and wish of one day god can conceive them with one, adoption would be better than harming a baby. Adoptions i an alternative to abortion definatly. There should be pograms about abortions, we should support the pregnant woman, expanding coverage t woman also; Woman an Unborn children in the health of insurance indutry. Thereis so many options there is there jsut not looking for the help they need. this abortion should stop.

What do you think is different between White American and Latinos? There’s a lot in difference. Language is one example, white American speak English; Latinos speak English and Spanish. Many, perhaps most Hispanics have Spanish Surnames , not all but some. Another can be their Religions. Latinos believe in the Virgin Mary, large protestant minority. White American Religions are; Agnosticism, Atheism, Mormonism and Judaism and fewer more.

White Americans have contributed literature, art, agriculture skills, foods, clothing style, music, and language. The white tend to be disproportionately represented in powerful positions, controlling almost all political and economic. They have the Second highest medium household income and personal income levels in the nation, by race. Whites Educational attainment is the second highest in the country, nearly one-third of white American had a bachelor’s degree.










As for Latinos, Latinos form the second largest ethnic group. Most U.S. Hispanics can speak Spanish; not all. U.S. Hispanics are the 4th generations that no longer speak Spanish, many Latinos have a surname, and not all but mostly all do. Latinos have made distinguished contributions to the U.S. in all major fields, such as politics, the military, literature, philosophy, sports, business, economy and science. As of date forty-three Hispanics and Latinos have been awarded the nation highest military distinction; The Medal Of Honor. Some Hispanics and Latinos have made their name in Aeronautics including several NASA astronauts; Franklin Chang Diaz was the first Latin American NASA astronaut. At 8:45 a.m., September 11th, 2001, the first of two airlines struck the World Trade Center in New York, terrorist attacks on the United States. At 9:03, a second plane crashed into a second World Trade Center tower, and exploded. In a rush Ambulance help the people out.









At 9:43 a.m., a third passenger plane crashed into the Pentagon, At 10:05, the south tower of the World Trade Center collapses, plummeting into the streets below. A massive cloud of dust. Five minutes later, a portion of the Pentagon collapsed. At 10:28, The World Trade Center's north tower collapses from the top down, releasing a tremendous cloud of debris and smoke. At 10:48 police confirm that a fourth passenger jet had crashed in western Pennsylvania



America learned a lot about heroes on September 11, 2001. First responders, including police officers, firefighters, paramedics, and a host of off duty responders, construction workers, medical professionals, and everyday people risked their lives to help evacuate as many people as possible from the burning and badly damaged Twin Towers, as well as from the Pentagon. Brave men and women lost their lives on September 11, along with the victims inside each building and aboard each plane.

I think this is bad, Lots of people lost a lot of their families, their homes, parents, children etc. People suffering about this disaster really hurts. Little children hurt from the stuff the buildings drop. Injuries everywhere in Washington D.C. when i first saw this i couldnt believe the new on the t.v. untill i was changing the hannels and all of my channels where about september 11. Its very sad seeing veryone cry for their loves ones, and just running aways from all the danger. People jumping out of the windows because they didnt want to get burn. Horrible day to remember.

Beacause thats been one of my dreams since a child.I think i would be good at this job because i got what it takes to do this job; Talk to people,be influential,make decisions using experience,work with people with different sets of problems in a variety of situations.I decided to go on Eureka website and check my true colors to see if that job was right to me.In that website I did Learn a little bit more on what I wanna do, and the options it had for me.what this job is about is Many people who are convicted of crimes are placed on probation, instead of being sent to prison. People who have served time in prison are often released on parole. During probation and parole, offenders must stay out of trouble and meet various other requirements. Probation officers, parole officers, and correctional treatment specialists work with and monitor offenders to prevent them from committing new crimes.








In this job career your going to be able to communicate with people,another one is be puntual very well organized and also knowing people that can count on you. Ability to dowork with people with different sets of problems in a variety of situations,work well in a group setting, as well as independently,do work that can be very intense and emotionally draining,plan and direct the activities of others,
be influential,make decisions using experience, and work toward a long-range goal.Yes,I do think I have some of the characteristics this carrer requires because I love helping others and take criminals of the streets.

We just gots to try help them, and do what we gots to do to protect the community. What i like about this job is we get more criminals of the streets or help them out, make sure they doing good and not bad stuff.Also knowing the skills we gots to do like; Knowledge of the laws of arrest, search, and seizure ,Knowledge of correctional systems,Respect for individual and cultural differences,Keep clear and accurate case records, and to write case notes,Understand psychology of young people,Clear communications,Understanding of personal boundaries and ethics.




I choosed this job beacause I love helping the communiy out and gettig criminals out of the streets, By visiting the Eureka website it helped me see if i had the qualities for this job, which I did. It helped me Understand more about what the job is also To be able to do it. My true color on the Eureka is Gold. The gold talked about what you might consider better if that job suits you. The gold said, Your strenght is duty, You are Organized, puntual dependable. Other know that they can count on you to get things done. You belive that work becomes before play. Your best skills include completing task and paying attention to duties. I do think this speaks to the personality types I have. The Eureka suggested these jobs because maybe another job is not the right one for us, also the Eureka helps us get the job that would go with our characteristics.

A Trip to Santa Monica Pier

Have you ever been to Santa Monica beach and just enjoyed the peaceful and wonderful big blue ocean? A reflection of they the sky above is beautiful with its array of color and the mysteries it holds. The ocean is blue expanding all the way to the horizon, the whooshing sound of waves crashing mix with the sounds of birds calling each other, the smell of salt on the breeze, and the scratchy feel of sand between your toes. With a smell of saltwater in the air, it is a scent like no other. If you never been there I suggest you go, the place to relax the place to be "Santa Monica Pier."







As I was sleeping on a very relaxing Saturday morning, I was woken up by a loud bang on my door. As I'm getting up I hear my friends inviting me to go to Santa Monica Pier. While i'm getting out of bed i can smell the breakfast being made; with a sweet sour smell and the smell of fresh new coffee freshly made. I patiently sit and wait for my breakfast to be served, ready to go on the road. Seeing everyone organizing and planning the trip we finally get ready to explore the beach. Riding for hours on the long road, passing and surrounded by old and new L.A. buildings. Getting close to my destination, I can clearly see a young woman coming towards us; offering us some fresh tropical fruits, looking so delicious we politly took one from her. As my mouth waters i freely taste the sweet fresh watermelon. Continuing to walk towards the beach I gently take of my sandals off; feeling the rocky soft sand in betweeen my toes as I walk by the ocean. As I'm staring at the ocean I can see the reflection of the sky above. The color adds to the mystery. Surrounded by birds we hear the excitments of the people around. Finally, putting a blanket by the beach we sit down, lay back to relax this wonderful beach.







Visiting Santa Monica beach was a very wonderful trip. Seeing, hearing, tasting different things was really an interesting and wonderful experience. I think people should take some time off and plan a trip to the beach. It's really nice to relax and forget about stuff and just have fun. I would definitely go back with my friends and enjoy every single minute of it. Being able to see the ocean and see the way the sun is reflecting on the ocean is such a beautiful thing, hearing the enjoyment is such a nice thing knowing everyone is having fun doing the things they like. Visiting Santa Monica Pier was the best.

The Digital Revolution

This story is about old clocks and how now in days we have the new clocks.
For Example clock radio, used to have a face and a slender hand that we had to point to the time we wanted to get up. Now in days clocks are automatic and dont need to use batteries. we also dont need to plug them no more. Its good that this technology is getting better because they are coming with alot of new interesting stuff.
Its nice to hear that something new is coming up each day.

Is It Ever Right To Take The Life Of Another Human Being?

What gives us humans worth and value? Is It Ever Right To Take The Life Of An Innocent Human Life? No ofcourse not we dont have the right to take another humans being life away. They have the right to live the same way we do. An unborn baby should have the right to live, why kill an inoccent child if he or she cant even speak for it self. People should start realizing & stop all this abortions. Its painfull to see all this happening. Really, I think abortion should be illegal, people should get arrested. why? beacuse you are killin a human being; an inoccent poor human being.

They have the right to live, the right to see this world, the right to breath, the rigt to see, the right to walk, the right to love, the right to be loved.. the list goes on

Many say Abortions are often considered "the easy was out." I feel that abortions are just selfish. There is no easy way out. I could not imagine living with the guilt of taking another's life, especially the life of something that I created, and that is dependent of me. There are so many people out there that wish they had the chance to get pregnant. If they really feel that you are not ready to be a parent then the person could at least give the baby up for adoption, and make their life, that baby's life, and the family adopting the babies' life a lot happier.


Yes i know we shouldnt judge either, I do Aggree on that buh just seeing a person take a life of an unborn is just to painfull. Thats why the made protecting stuff to avoid all this. If you know you dont want a baby, you should kow the stuff to do, buh not kill an innocent child; because who are we to kill. we are none. let the child live! js seeing this horrible images makes my heart go in pieces. What fault does this baby have.None, just think about it. let a child live a life.

"The Ravine"

The Story i read about was about quincy scott is describing how him n his brothers alsocousins played and tell us how special that place means to him. While your readin the reader describes how it looks.Most of their spring to summer and autumn. They also describe how the plants and trees changed over time when the season changes. The ravine was a good place for them to play when they were young, most of thei times they spend there where the best once, it made there family closer together. the spot was located in the back of their home.

The Hiroshima Museum"

In this story it talks about the Hiroshima Museum.
She discribes how she sees the stuff place in the musuem,
how quiet it is, also talkin about the atomic bomb.
How Oshita-Chan was half a mile from the hypocenter
of the nuclear blast, describing what she was wearing:
a blue-short sleeve blouse. People when they enter in
the museum are hushed because i think they are tryimg to respect
and maybe know about it. It also tell you a bit about the time the bomb occured, which was at eight-fifhteen.








I think this story is quit interesting, why? because its
talkin about the impact of an atomic bomb. This make you wanna know about
what happen in Hiroshima. Lookin information up about it makes you realize and lets you see what they went through.

This Blogg thing going to drive me Crazy.

Oh my god, making this blogger was difficult and its still difficult for me. I still dont get the hang of it. I so do things wrong. Im learning little by little. It seemed all simple but its not. I accidently erased some blogs i did, I thought i was saving them buh i was realizing i wasnt..I learned how to put some pictures I just cant understand some things like the url n stuff ETC. ugh. This blogger thing is going to drive me crazy. Hopefully I get use to doing it and learn how to use it more. This is nice though you get to post anything. I kind of like this. so way different than myspace I think. Myspace is much simple. Easier to managE and use.

"Discrimintation should Stop already"

Discrimination, who hasn’t been discriminated right? I think everyone has been discriminated; everyone has deal with it. Discriminated just because of their color, if they thin look different than others or maybe what they do. Everyone should just respect others, everyone is the same they just think different and look different. If there would have been only one race I think life here would be so boring. Having different kind of cultures make life much interesting. Why? Because you learn new interesting stuff and learn different kinds of languages.


If everyone would be one race I think life would be boring, people would do the same stuff others are doing know a certain language, basically everyone would know everything your doing. Being different is a very good thing because you get the chance to learn and meet new people, also knowing about others backgrounds how their life’s where. It’s nice to know where other people come from and how they are way different on doing things we don’t do or the thing we do.



Everyone has been discriminated mostly because their color. We should all respect others if we want to get respect back. Also a lot of people judge too much. I don’t think people should judge people without knowing them because we hurt others feelings. I don’t think there’s nothing bad about people being different from others; if your white, African American or Latin etc. That doesn’t mean we are not important, we are all important. Don’t let others bring you down just because you’re from a different place or you look much different than that person.




Everyone should respect others, we should all start getting along, and all types of discriminations should just stop, because we are all the same just with different minds. Step up and say no to racism. We should all reunite as one and just be one big family. Don’t let the color hold you back.

Have you ever been discriminated just because what you do, or because of your race? I think mostly everyone has been through it. We need to learn to respect others. By respecting them we can learn many cultures backgrounds, we should learn how to interact and get along with them. Also say the right thing to respect them. Try not to offend others, stop the discrimination because we are all the same.



Living in a big city of Los Angeles I experienced a lot and saw a lot of new interesting cultures; American pop culture, Chinese, Latin, African American the list goes on. It’s a very huge city, lots of interested people of all kinds. I grew up in Sylmar CA, I loved that place. Most of my years were spend there. We moved a lot, Lancaster was the last stop. A very nice place, loved the weather and the schools. People there would sometimes mind their own business, but once in a while they would try to get into yours. It all started when I began Antelope High School.



The only thing I didn’t like is when I started Antelope High School in Lancaster. Students in there would look at me like they didn’t like me. There was a lot of African American and few Hispanics. They would think I was Mexican and Chinese, but I would tell them that I wasn’t, that I was Mexican and Salvadorian that there is a big difference in cultures. As soon as I told them there face expressions change, they got all surprised and wouldn’t believe me. I wasn’t surprise about it because I was use to it. In Antelope High School students would talk about you, they would talk about how you looked, were you from, your color, if you were skinny, short, overweight or anything just to make fun of you. There would always be a lot of riots; we would always be in lockdown in that school. All this lockdowns were because people would call out other people out because of their color.




I learned that people should just respect others. Having respect towards others would bring fewer problems to the situation. People should just stop judging without knowing the person just because we look or say stuff different. We are all the same we just think different. There shouldn’t be any reason for others to compare us with others. It’s a beautiful thing learning about others countries and where they came from. Judging people just like that doesn’t take us anywhere; because making rude comments about others we do actually hurt others feelings, like they hurt you, you hurt other to by talking about them. "Regular Customer"

This story is talking about a lady always goin in the coffe place always askin for her same usual coffe. Everytime she goes in she always want her coffe exctly how she always gets it,always asking to put her coffe for 45 seconds. Also it tells you how she always does the same thing over and over. Like for example she prceeds to gather a napkin, stir straw, three sugars, and two creamers; placing them on her table every single day she comes in.it also describes what she wears. this story usually repeats the same thing beacuse of what she always does is the same thing.






The overall of this essay is that she repeats every thing and has her usual coffe every morning. Lsao she ask for the same thing, nothing never changes.

"Overindulgence"

In this story its talkin about her aunts Helens' favorite Chicken and dumplings. she talk about how good her dish is that youll get more by just trying out one more. also describes how her dish is made. She doesnt stop eating because her dish is so goo shell want more and more. Being so full and gettin so much of her aunts dish she gets full and has an Alka-Seltzer in hand begging for some relief. Because her stomach hurts of how ful she is she saiys next time shell only get one serving.

this is a nice story. Its quit interesting to read. Also because when the reader is readiin you can kno exactly what the person is saying and doin.

"The Perfect Dog"

In this story what it talks about is about a man getting a dog from a cardboard box. Hes talkin about his dog always listening to his commands. Also that his dog abays to every command this man tells him to do.His frineds will envy him because how good his dog would listen to him. When the man leaves his house he can leave the dog there without the dog doin any kind of mess. The dog love sitting in the back of the car when the man will drive anywhere. He really thought the dog how to obey. this is a very interesting story to read. gives some details on what the man is saying and talking about. I like this book because it talks about how the dog is and what the man is saying. For me its quit interesting. anyone would like to read this tiny short story.!!







The overall impression of this story is that his dog listen and hes a great listener He also trained the dog, so when ever he was unleashed the dog would go running after other or chase them. He would patiently sit rite next to his owner.!!!>!
